I was just thinking to myself this morning that I had not seen a glove for a few days...when all of a sudden there it was...on 30th between 6th and 7th!

Thanksgiving through New Years is my favorite time of the year in NYC. All of the Macy Parade balloons are blown up down the street from my apartment. Every Thanksgiving Eve they allow the public to tour the block and check the balloons out up close and personal. There must have been thousands of people out tonight to check the scene out. And you know with all those people I was bound to find one or two lost gloves. Yes!! Happy Turkey Day everyone!

I have such awesome friends. My girl Michi from work came across a lonely glove today on the corner of 31st and 6th. Her exact words: "I couldn't resist!" Thanks Michi!

The lonely glove season has officially begun. I came across my first lonely glove in Central Park on Sunday. It wasn't even that chilly, but this little guy didn't last too long. Remember, if you have any photos of your own lonely gloves, I would love to see them.

Its cold out again and this means more lost gloves. It is a week before Thanksgiving and has not quite been cold enough out yet to even wear gloves. But, never fear, lost glove season is near. I promise this year to do a much better job with my posting. Pinky swear.
